| How does AgentElona protect my personal information? | To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal and state law. How this website works
The notice above is the one the law requires. This part is about the website itself, in plain English.
Who runs this site
SoFlo Palms LLC, doing business as AgentElona. The site is agentelona.com; soflopalms.com redirects there.
What we collect on this site, and why
What you send us. What you type into the contact, quote and appointment forms: your name, email, phone, ZIP code, what you want covered, the optional details for that coverage, the time you would like to talk, and your message. For a quote, also the application details carriers ask for: addresses, date of birth, Social Security number, gender, education and occupation, and details about your household, property, vehicles and current insurance. We use your Social Security number and driver's license to run the soft credit check and driving-record (MVR) check that carriers use to quote.
Booking a call. If you book a call on our appointments page, we collect your first and last name, email, phone number, the reason for the call, the time you picked and the time zone your device showed, and the short note you add if you add one. We use them to place the call — by phone, from our business number 954-281-9884 — and to send you emails about it: a confirmation with a calendar file right after you book, and usually one reminder about 24 hours before the call. If Elona moves the call, we email you to say so, and we usually email you if it is cancelled. These emails are about the call you booked; they are not marketing and there is nothing to unsubscribe from. Booking a call does not sign you up for texts.
Documents you choose to upload. In the quote flow, or when you book a call (on the booking page or through the private link in your confirmation email), you can upload a declarations page or a policy summary so Elona can quote against what you actually have. Uploading is your choice; you can type the details instead. Uploaded files are held privately and checked for viruses before anyone opens them. We may use automated tools to read a document, and Elona checks anything read that way before relying on it. Uploading a document does not bind or change coverage.
Technical data. Cloudflare, which serves and protects this site, processes the technical data every website needs: your IP address and the details of each request. We apply a rate limit to keep the forms working for everyone. We keep short-lived technical logs to keep the site secure and fix problems; they never include what you type into our forms or the documents you upload, and they are deleted after 30 days.
Why. To respond to you, prepare the quote you asked for, communicate about the services you requested, operate and secure the site, keep the business records we are required to keep, and meet our legal obligations. We do not use any of it for advertising.
Your browser
While you fill in a quote, the form in progress is kept in your browser only, so a refresh does not lose your place. It is cleared when the tab closes.
We use the cookies this site needs to work and stay secure — for example, to protect our forms from automated abuse or to keep you signed in to your account.
We also use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this site — which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, and which of our links and buttons are used, including whether a quote, contact or appointment request was sent. It sets its own cookies and receives your IP address and basic browser and device details. It does not run on our document-upload pages, and on the booking page it never receives anything about files you attach. It never receives your name or contact details, what you type into our forms, the documents you upload, or the details of your quote — only which kind of request was sent (quote, contact or appointment), the kind of coverage asked about (for example auto or home), whether documents were attached, and which of our pages a link was used on. We have turned off Google’s advertising features and Google signals. Cloudflare Web Analytics also counts visits, without cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.
Where your information goes
What you send is stored in our private intake system so Elona can review it and respond. Security checks and document reading run on our own systems; we do not send your documents to an outside document-reading service.
To prepare a quote you asked for, we enter what is needed into our quoting software and share it with the insurance carriers we quote with. Those companies have their own privacy notices.
When you book a call, it is added to a private calendar in our business Google Workspace account, which Elona sees on her phone. The calendar entry's title shows only your first name and last initial; the details inside it include your phone number, the reason for the call and your note, so Elona has them when she calls. To keep the booking page from offering times when Elona is busy, our system asks Google only when she is busy on her calendar, never what her other appointments are. Video calls are never offered on the website: after a phone call, Elona may send you a one-time Google Meet link by email, and only if you join does Google Meet handle the video call. We do not record calls.
Our service providers: Cloudflare (website hosting, security and visit counts), our database and secure file-storage provider, Proton (email), our quoting software, Twilio (text messages) and Google (website analytics, address suggestions, our business phone line and calendar and, only when Elona invites you, Google Meet video calls). We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We do not sell or share your mobile number, your text-message opt-in, or any personal information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. The one exception is the name and email address you ask us to give a partner car dealer (below); your phone number and text-message opt-in are never shared with a dealer.
Partner car dealers
If you are buying a new car, Elona can help you get a partner dealer's price in one of two ways. You choose which on our contact form.
- Elona gets the numbers for you. She tells the dealer what car you are shopping for, and nothing that identifies you — not your name, phone number or email.
- A partner dealer contacts you. Only if you ask, by ticking a separate box that is never pre-checked. We then give one partner dealer your name and email address, for that request only, so the dealer can email you. We never give a dealer your phone number. We keep the exact wording you agreed to, with the date and time. The dealer handles your information under its own privacy practices.
You do not need to buy insurance through AgentElona to receive the partner pricing, and you are never obligated to buy from a partner dealer.
How long we keep it
- We keep inquiries that don’t become a policy so Elona can follow up — for example, at your renewal — and delete them when you ask, or after 3 years without contact.
- Booked calls that do not become a policy, and their calendar entries, are deleted after 2 years.
- Uploaded documents that do not become a quote, including files that fail our security check, are deleted after 30 days.
- Records of policies actually transacted are kept as Florida law requires, at least 5 years after the policy expires.
- A record that you opted out of text messages is kept for as long as we need it to honor your choice.
Text messages
We text you only if you separately opt in on the contact form, by ticking a box that is never pre-checked. Texts come from 954-799-5969 and are about your insurance inquiry — questions, documents we still need, and quote updates. We never send marketing texts. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop, or HELP for help. Consenting to texts is not a condition of purchase. We keep the exact wording you agreed to, with the date and time. The full terms are at agentelona.com/messaging-terms/.
Website security verification
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to help protect website forms and document uploads from automated abuse. Turnstile may run invisibly when you submit information. Cloudflare processes information for this verification as described in its Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Children
This site is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.
Your choices
- Ask us what information we have about you, and ask us to correct it.
- Ask us to delete an inquiry that never became a policy.
- Decide, each time, whether a partner car dealer may contact you. Saying no never affects the partner pricing or our help.
- Opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP.
- Turn off Google Analytics: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal we do not load it, or you can use Google’s opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
- To change or cancel a booked call, use the private Change time or Cancel call link in your confirmation, new-time or reminder email, reply to that email, or call 954-281-9884. Each link works only for that call, stops working once the call is cancelled or its time has passed, and shows only your first name and the call's time, length and topic, and lets you attach a document for Elona until the call starts.
Changes
If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top. If a change affects how we share your information, we will tell you first and give you a chance to opt out where the law allows.
